X PiP Feed is a browser extension that displays your X timeline in a Picture-in-Picture window. This policy explains what data the extension accesses, where that data is stored, and when third-party services are used.
X PiP Feed does not collect, store, or transmit user data to any server operated by the developer. Specifically:
The extension accesses the following data, all of which is stored locally on the user’s device unless translation is enabled for selected accounts:
If translation is enabled for selected accounts, the extension sends tweet text for those configured accounts to Google Translate so translated text can be returned. This is the only third-party service used by the extension beyond loading X itself.
Cached tweets are stored locally in Chrome storage and are overwritten as the feed updates. Settings remain in Chrome storage until changed or removed by the user. Uninstalling the extension removes extension-managed local data from Chrome.
If this privacy policy is updated, the changes will be reflected here with an updated date.
If you have questions about this privacy policy, please open an issue in the project repository.
